Vacation Bible School June 3 - 7
"Rescue Zone"
Saved by God's Power

Mr. & Mrs. Groot directed our VBS with workers from teens to 80+ years old. Our total enrollment was 79. There were 3 age group classes from K - 6th grade. Sessions included: Opening with skits and singing, Bible lessons, snacks and Bible memory time, games, special event, and closing with puppet skit and singing.

This year we served a kids meal each evening at 6:00, starting out with a hotdog cook-out on Sunday evening.

Our special event on Sunday evening was a session with a 3rd degree burn and skin graph victim who shared how the Lord has worked through out the recovery. Monday we had a fireman and fire truck on the lot for the session. The Children enjoyed exploring the EMS Paramedic Unit truck on Tuesday. The Saline County Sheriff sent an officer and car for the session on Wednesday. With learning about rescue, here in difficult situations, we also learned about the rescue God has planned for our souls through Jesus Christ.
