Conference Speaker
The 2008 Women’s Weekend Get-Away Committee has released information about this year’s conference speaker! Patty O’ Brian, native Kansasan now from Lincoln, Nebraska, will be sharing her advice on how to “Keep It Simple Sister” on February 29 and March 1, 2008.
Patty met Dean through their involvement in the Navigators’ ministry at Kansas State University. They were missionaries for eight years in Germany and have worked with churches in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska.
Patty and Dean have three children, Jeff, Kyle and Jenn. Patty enjoys leading Bible studies and small groups and often speaks at women’s retreats for churches, camps and organizations.
We have invited Patty to speak to us on keeping it simple in our personal lives and home environments. Come be refreshed with us and invite a friend to come along too.
Don’t Miss Saturday’s Music!
Enjoy the contemplative music of Ginger Millermon one of America’s top new recording artists.
“I started composing music years ago but it wasn’t until God took our family through extremely hard times that I began to really write from my heart and see my music as a tool to minister to the needs of others. I want to bring hope and encouragement by expressing through testimony and music how God has touched and healed my heart.”
Because of the trials that God has taken her through, Ginger truly has a way of connecting with the hearts of women. She has a desire to lead women in worship and into a closer walk with Christ. Ginger seeks to incorporate biblical principles and practical applications in her ministry.
Ginger’s concert is Saturday.
Her CD’s will be available for purchase.
